The rSTAR Advisory Council

The North Stars by Which Our Company Navigates

The rSTAR Advisory Council was formed in 2023 to bring together leading experts from asset-intensive industries, including energy and utilities, manufacturing, and automotive.

The members address emerging trends in technology and related business issues, as well as provide valuable feedback to rSTAR as a leading systems integration firm.

Advisors have a one-year, renewable term. Advisors are selected based on leadership in their industries and bring relevant counsel and experienced insights into technology and business issues for the benefit of rSTAR and its clients.

The 2025 Advisory Council

Dale Lundtvedt

At Emerson, Dale was VP of IT, Sales, and Sales Operations, leading Configure, Price, Quote, and Oracle CX Fusion initiatives. He also served as IT Director for Emerson Automation Solutions, overseeing Oracle Fusion Sales/Service B2B and EBS Quote/Order Management. He led the 2018 GE business unit IT integration. Retired in 2024, Dale brings extensive Oracle Cloud manufacturing expertise to the Council.

During his tenure at Emerson, Dale served as Vice President IT, Sales and Sales Operations, where he led initiatives in Configure, Price, Quote and Oracle CX Fusion. He also held a senior leadership position for Emerson Automation Solutions as an IT Director overseeing Oracle Fusion Sales and Service B2B, EBS Quote and Order Management.

Dale’s technical leadership extended to acquisition integration of the GE business unit IT assets in 2018. He brings a wealth of experience to the Council, especially in the area of Oracle Cloud manufacturing solutions.
He retired from Emerson in 2024 and is excited to begin this next chapter of his business career.

Chris Moyer

Chris is an experienced executive with cyber security and IT operations expertise, having led multiple global M&A integrations. His career focuses on optimizing processes, innovating, and leveraging technology with exceptional teams. A resourceful leader, he developed capabilities for dynamic industry needs, including regulated domains. He was most recently CTO for Exelon Corporation, overseeing IT operations for common services. Chris regularly presents at industry forums on various tech topics.
Chris is an experienced executive with cyber security experience, IT operations expertise and has executed multiple mergers and acquisitions in different industries and countries. His career has focused on optimizing process, innovating, and using technology to amplify results through exceptional global teams. Chris is a resourceful leader that has developed business and delivery capabilities to meet dynamic industry needs, including in regulated industry domains. He most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer for Exelon Corporation, the largest Energy Transmission and Distribution company in the United States. Responsibilities included running all IT operations for common services including HR, Finance, Legal, Network, Data Centers, and Workplace & Collaboration services. Chris is a regular presenter in industry forums like the Consumer Electronics Show, Gartner Symposium, and IDC on topics from Workplace modernization, large scale Oracle & ServiceNow implementations, Connect2Car autonomous vehicle security, cyber risks, and industry technology trends.

Tom Nolan

Tom is an experienced consulting/outsourcing executive specializing in IT and Utilities. His expertise includes Large System Delivery, IT Strategy, Infrastructure, Governance, Outsourcing, and Utilities Architecture. He was most recently a Managing Director in Accenture’s Utilities practice, leading large accounts and technology initiatives, and contributing to Chicago market development and corporate citizenship.
Tom is an experienced executive in the consulting/outsourcing industry, specializing in Information Technology and the Utilities industry. He has specific expertise in areas such as Large/Complex System Delivery, IT Strategy, IT Infrastructure, IT Governance, Outsourcing, and Utilities Technical/Application Architecture. He most recently served as a Managing Director in Accenture’s Utilities practice, responsible for large account leadership and Technology initiatives. Tom also served as a member of Accenture’s leadership team for the Chicago office, driving Accenture’s Corporate Citizenship and Resources market development in the Chicago marketplace.

Mark Browning

Mark is a 35-year energy industry veteran, innovator, and leader. He retired from Exelon in 2024, holding numerous IT roles, culminating as Senior Vice President IT and CIO. In 2023, ChicagoCIO recognized him as the Chicago Large Enterprise CIO of the Year by Inspire ORBIE Awards for his outstanding leadership, management, and tech innovation at Exelon.
Mark is a 35-year leader, innovator, and veteran of the energy industry. He retired from Exelon in 2024 where he held numerous roles, including Enterprise Architect, IT Director of Large Utility Projects, IT Director Utility Solutions, VP of IT for ComEd and Vice President IT and CIO Exelon Utilities. He most recently served as Senior Vice President IT and CIO. In 2023, Mark was recognized as the Chicago Large Enterprise CIO of the year by Inspire ORBIE Awards for his outstanding leadership, management effectiveness, and business value created through technology innovation as Senior Vice President – Chief Information Officer at Exelon. The Awards are presented by ChicagoCIO, the preeminent peer leadership network for Chicagoland’s leading Chief Information Officers.
