Job Description:

rSTAR Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master with Project Management (PM) capabilities with a strong understanding C experience in leading cross-functional teams. This role will focus on ensuring the successful delivery of software projects by applying Scrum and while managing stakeholder expectations, risks, and delivery timelines. The Scrum Master will work in a collaborative environment, helping teams to perform at their best and ensuring that the project goals are met on time.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions to ensure Scrum practices are followed and teams are aligned
Guide teams in adopting and improving Scrum, promoting self-organization, continuous improvement, and collaboration
Manage project dashboards, burndown charts, and team velocity tracking in Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira
Actively work to identify and remove any impediments or blockers that prevent the team from achieving its sprint goals
Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure clear and actionable user stories, and assist with backlog refinement and prioritization
Monitor and mitigate project risks, scope changes, and delivery constraints
Provide status reports, metrics, and documentation for leadership and stakeholders
Promote effective communication between team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and requirements
Monitor the progress of teams through burn-down charts, velocity tracking, and other Scrum metrics. Provide regular reports to stakeholders
Lead retrospectives and implement feedback to help the team continuously improve its processes and performance
Build a collaborative, high-performance team culture that is engaged, motivated, and focused on delivering quality results

Must Have:

Experience with Agile tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira
Strong backlog management and refinement skills
Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Strong knowledge of Scrum ceremonies, metrics, dashboards, and best practices
Experience in stakeholder management, reporting, and cross-functional team alignment
Ability to identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies
Demonstrated experience balancing Scrum Master and Project Management responsibilities
Strong knowledge of Scrum practices and ceremonies
Strong conflict resolution and team dynamics management
Ability to quickly identify issues and remove obstacles
Leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and enforce Scrum best practices
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Experience with release management in Azure DevOps

Good to Have:

Certification in Agile/Scrum/SAFe (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe Agilist)
Experience in SAFe Agile (Scaled Agile Framework) principles
Experience or familiarity with the Manufacturing domain and manufacturing processes is a plus
