Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for documenting and managing business requirements, facilitating communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, and ensuring the delivery of solutions aligned with business goals. You will work closely with product owners, functional leads, and QA teams to define, prioritize, and validate requirements throughout the project lifecycle.


Experience in requirement gathering and business process flow mapping in 2 to 3 Salesforce projects is a must.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Documenting Requirements: Clearly and concisely documenting the gathered requirements in the from of user stories and features in JIRA.
  • Examining and breaking down complex requirements/epics into manageable features and user stories.
  • Establishing clear and measurable acceptance criteria that will be used to determine if the delivered solution is acceptable to the stakeholders.
  • Prioritizing Requirements: Working with functional team including functional leads and product owners to prioritize requirements based on business value and other agreed identifies.
  • Managing Requirements Traceability: Establishing and maintain traceability between features, user stories, design elements, and testing artifacts to ensure that the delivered solution meets the release goals and objectives.
  • Managing Requirements Changes: Facilitating the process of managing changes to
    requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participating in Testing: Involved in reviewing test plans and test cases, to ensure the solution meets the requirements.
  • Serving as a Liaison: Acting as a communication bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. Working closely with Functional lead for the same.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (business users, product owners, and technical teams) to understand business needs and gather detailed requirements for new and ongoing projects.
  • Analyze and document current business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose process optimization solutions.
  • Prepare clear and concise functional specifications and user stories for development teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work closely with Scrum Masters and Product Owners in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint
    planning, backlog refinement) to ensure business requirements are captured, prioritized, and clearly understood by development teams.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives, requirements, and progress.
  • Perform data analysis, create reports, and assist in defining KPIs to track business performance and help decision-making.
  • Support & Own the UAT process, lead product demos along working with users to validate the delivered solutions against business requirements.
  • Assist in change management processes to ensure smooth transitions to new systems or processes, including training and documentation.
  • Continuously assess business processes and propose solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Experience in requirement gathering and business process flow mapping in 2 to 3 Salesforce projects is a must.
Must Have:
  • Hands-on experience with requirements of documentation, user story creation, and backlog grooming using tools like JIRA or Confluence.
  • Proven experience working in cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams.
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling, requirement analysis, and user story mapping.
  • Proficient in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and other collaboration tools.
  • Ability to analyze, decompose, and translate complex business requirements into structured and actionable items.
  • Experience with traceability and change management processes across the SDLC.
  • Experience in supporting QA activities, including reviewing test cases and participating in UAT.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Adept at stakeholder management and building strong working relationships.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively based on business value and stakeholder input.
Good to Have:
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe.
  • Prior experience in industries such as Finance, Healthcare, or IT Services is advantageous
Qualification & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8 + years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within an agile environment.
